We had a friendly practice session at Goat’s Tavern, held in Northpass.

Our most-visible demo of the year is held at the Cloisters every fall, where tens of thousands of visitors pass our display.

The fall youth combat season in our region begins at Barleycorn.

It was a pleasure to work with Lady Eikaterine tin Elliniki of Anglespur, the marshal in charge for this event.

Pennsic is the peak of youth combat year for fighters in the East — eight days in a row of bouts against fighters from many countries and kingdoms. Kids receive training both from the marshalate and from senior adult fighters at the top of their game.

This was my first Pennsic as a youth marshal, and my son’s first year fighting at Pennsic.
